my books are currently closed

Please take the time to read and review the whole website if you are looking to become a new client.

Thank you so much for considering me as an artist for your future tattoo endeavor! Currently my books are closed and I am not looking at taking on any new clients at this time.

Please take a look through my website to check out what type of projects I will be looking to take on in the future. If you feel like your project idea aligns with my style choices, please feel free to reach out to me to share your interest and I can provide you with more information about my booking and tattooing process.

I am always available via email to discuss your ideas and answer any questions that you may have! If I feel like your project proposal is something that I would like to take on in the future, I can get you added to an email subscription list to stay up to date with my future availabilities as they pop up.

Please be aware that being on the email subscription list does not guarantee a spot in my books, but this is the best way to stay up to date with any and all future availability.

However, my available pre-drawn designs are always available to book at anytime! If you are interested in any of these, reach out to me and let me know.

Email me anytime at info@artbyabbymuench.com, I would be happy to help out anyway I can or point you in the right direction.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your consideration!

Projects that I am looking to take on in the future:

It is my ultimate goal to provide a hand crafted and curated approach to ensure my clients receive a tattoo that is uniquely and specifically designed for them. I find I am able to achieve this by taking on projects that fit a specific criteria that display my best technical skills as a tattooer and an artist.

Here are the themes I will be looking for:

Large Scale Geometric

I am looking to book large scale geometric work! I usually like to inform my clients that these projects take a decent amount of time to finish. Half sleeves can be anywhere from 3-6 sessions and full sleeves can require up to a year or more to complete. I usually book several appointments within 4 weeks of each other to make sure we finish in a timely manner.

This includes:

  • Half, 3/4, or full leg or arm sleeves
  • Full or half backs
  • Chest Pieces
  • Unique placements on the body like neck, side of face, hand, etc.

Large Scale Floral Work

I really love the idea of using large floral work to accentuate the body form and compliment the space of the body that we are tattooing. I primarily love working with peonies and chrysanthemums but am open to different flowers.

I also really love the idea of being able to draw flowers on my clients or have an extensive consultation process where I create a rough draft over top of the area we will be tattooing by laying down plastic wrap and drawing on top of it. This way you can see the plan for the design.

Here are a couple examples of floral work that I love to do!

Floral and Geometric

I love the idea of using large scale floral work to flow well with the body and then complimenting the floral work with geometric or ornamental elements accented in the background.

I enjoy doing these pieces in medium to large scale sizes and eventually would love to do full body concepts as well.

Here are a couple of examples!

Ornamental

I am looking to do more ornamental tattoos! I love doing these in all sizes, including small to large. I enjoy all types of ornamental styles so feel free to share your ideas with me. I’d love to get into more bold ornamentals, using bold black elements to make the pieces pop!

I also would like to do more matching/complimentary ornamental tattoos. For example, two matching wrist ornaments or similar concepts.

Here are some pieces that I have done in the past

Art Nouveau/Bold Floral and ornamental mix

I am really looking to explore some more large scale art nouveau concepts! I’d love to explore bolder types of floral work with the integration of art nouveau or ornamental elements. These are not my work but here are some concepts that inspire me.

Below are some works designed and tattooed by:

  • Sarah Rose
  • Fibs
  • Annabelle Meister
  • Kat Adby

Smaller Tattoos

I also enjoy doing smaller tattoos when I can accommodate for them! If you have an idea that wasn’t listed above, please still feel free to submit your idea and I can take a look at it.

My Booking Process

I like to take a hands on approach with my projects. I try to put fourth the best effort for each and every client that I take on, which is why I can only take on so many projects at once.

Typically with each client, I like to have a free hour long consultation to introduce myself, talk over ideas, draw up concepts and ease any nerves that my clients have moving forward with taking on such a permanent step in their lives.

During this time, I will usually wrap the desired placement up in plastic wrap so I can make out the main details and flow of the piece. This helps me immensely during my drawing process and this way the client and I can ensure that we are on the same page moving forward.

I really like to take the time to do this because I do not send out designs ahead of the appointment. The time that we spend during the consultation is intended for the client and I to go over anything we need to so that we can both feel comfortable moving forward.

I then present the design the day of the tattoo and we can make any minor adjustments we need in order to make sure we both feel comfortable with the design.

If a client is coming out of state, there are ways to work around this and I will discuss alternatives with you if you are unable to make it in for a consultation.

Schedule/Availability/Rates

I work Tuesday-Friday and start most of my appointments at 11:00 am or 12:00 pm

I usually book my consultations during my work days at 11:00 am!

My hourly rate is $175.00 and I require a $150.00 dollar non-refundable deposit in order to book with me. If we move forward with your project, I will give you more details in regards to estimates and deposits.

Available Designs

The designs shown below are concepts that I have come up with in free-time. I am always down to take a concept and curate it specifically for your body or come up with something similar and custom. However, pre-drawn concepts always take priority when scheduling.

Please do not use these images for anything else other than submitting an idea to me. No permission is granted to take these to another artist to tattoo or for reference.

Thank you so much!

Check back another time for updates about my schedule.
